Application Process and Timeline

The application process for 2012 is now open. We encourage you to apply early as this year we will be accepting people on a first-come, first-served basis. We will let you know our response to your application within 3 weeks of receiving your application.

To contribute to clarity and connection, we have set the following steps, described below in further detail:

  1. Reading the website

  2. Downloading and reading the application

  3. Joining a teleconference call for people interested in the program (free; see dates below)

  4. Submitting an application (could be done before the call)

Step 1: Read this website thoroughly: Reading this website will likely answer all your questions.

If you would like to talk with someone who has been through the program recently, the following LP11 community members have agreed to be resources. Feel free to email them.

Step 2: Download an application. Read the application for more information on the program. You can immediately download the application by completing the request form below. If you have trouble with this form, you can request that an application be mailed to you by emailing us at lp12@baynvc.org.

Step 3 or 4: Submit an application ASAP, ideally by October 15: If you believe that you meet the application criteria, we encourage you to submit an application. Complete instructions are included in the application. If you are applying after October 15, submit an application right away without waiting for a teleconference call, then join a call on the first date possible.

Step 3 or 4: Join a teleconference call about the program: Either before or after submitting an application, we invite you to join us for a group teleconference to explore your interest in the program, meet one or more of the program leaders and other potential applicants, ask questions, and experience a bit of the program. Teleconferences are scheduled for the following dates (click the link below the date to sign up for that date's teleclass):

IMPORTANT: Please join a teleconference as soon as you can, as the later teleconferences are likely to have more potential applicants and therefore less individual attention. To sign up for a teleclass, please click the link below the date you want. You will be taken to the Maestro website so you can register for the class and receive your pin number to access the call.

NOTE: If you already know one of the program leaders and are familiar with the LP, and you prefer not to join a teleconference, please contact that program leader and check whether we would like you to join.

Once you submit an application, you can expect the following:

1: We will reply confirming your participation or asking for more connection by November 1 (or sooner): Applicants who are accepted into the program will receive an email confirmation accompanied by a Program Agreement, which reflects each applicant’s personal program and financial agreement and requests payment of the deposit.

If you apply after October 15, we will reply within 2 - 3 weeks.

2: Sign & return the program agreement by the date requested in the confirmation (usually one week).
